Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks)  butter, softened
1 1/3 cups light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups raisins

Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt together. Stir this into the butter/sugar mixture.
Stir in the oats and raisins.

Chill dough, if desired. This will help make cookies thicker.

Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Transfer to a rack to cool.
